Cafe Church

Worship and chat in a relaxed atmosphere over a cup of coffee. That's Stonelaw's Cafe Church. We introduced this in July 2009, and it's going from strength to strength.

Cafe Church takes advantage of the informal atmosphere of The Meeting Place. People sit with their friends at tables and chat.

There's normally an optional, and sometimes silly, quiz to get discussion going. There's a well-known song sung with the aid of John's guitar, or one of our other musicians. Whoever is leading that evening introduces a Bible passage, which we discuss at our tables. Someone may share their story. We end by 9pm, with a prayer and a song - although people tend to stay chatting for longer.

It is all very freindly and relaxed.

We started this in the Summer, and it has been such a success (number climbing over 35) that we're continuing it fortnightly on Thursdays  at 7.30-9.00pm.

Just turn up, any evening. If you'd like to offer to lead, speak to Alistair or Therese.

Dates for 2010

Thursdays:

January 14th, 21st, 28th (and fortnightly thereafter)
