Do you have a family memory of war you could share with our community?
It could be your own memory (if you’re old enough), or that of an older relative, or some relation from the past whose story you’ve researched.
They might have served in the military, or experienced evacuation or bombing. It can be any war, although 1914-1918 stories are particularly welcome. We’ll give you a free Memory Board (available from the Meeting Place) to tell your story in your own words, perhaps with photographs, and return this to us for display at:
Your War Memories Exhibition: Monday 5th - Saturday 10th November 10.30am-4.30pm
Also Thursday and Friday 7.00-8.30pm (Admission Free — Café open throughout).
