Our Local Partners
Rutherglen ArmsStonelaw is part of the wider Christian Church in Rutherglen, as well as being part of the wider community.
We enjoy good relationships with the other Rutherglen Churches. We do quite a number of things together under the banner of Rutherglen Churches Together - although, needless to say, we could do much more.
Along with the Cambuslang churches, we also support the work of the Rutherglen and Cambuslang Reachout Trust, which works particularly in our local schools.
Our minister is chaplain to Stonelaw High School, with whom we've enjoyed a long association. Their services are held in our Sanctuary each year, and over the last few years we've arranged an annual joint Christmas concert with them.
Our fairtrade interests have also grown into a partnership with other local churches, schools and politician, and together we've formed the Camglen Fairtrade Forum - a campaign to make Rutherglen a fairtrade town.
Therese Reid has recently led us into a partnership with Enable, who share The Meeting Place with us on Thursdays.
